4HI AM opened its doors to the central highlands on November 30th 1981. Since then, the whole community has been behind the station.

We cover the whole of the Bowen basin with a potential listening audience of 68,000 people.

Many don’t realise that our service area extends south to Rollestone, north to Moranbah and Goonyella, west to Alpha and east to Dingo.
